RHEDI creates and curates resources to support full-spectrum reproductive health care and training for residents in Family Medicine. These resources are designed to increase medical knowledge, strengthen interpersonal and communication skills and enhance patient care. In addition, with the use of these resources and hands-on clinical training residents will graduate prepared to:

  • Demonstrate respect and trust for every person’s reproductive autonomy;
  • Preserve and promote safe and accessible abortion and contraceptive services that are free of judgment, stigma, and financial and legal barriers;
  • Understand and challenge social inequities rooted in medical racism and white supremacy
  • Explore and value the intersectionality and complexity of all people’s reproductive histories and experiences.
